Claire Hart, an intrepid journalist with a fascination for the supernatural, arrives in Newbury Hollow to investigate the mysterious Blackwood Cemetery. With the help of her colleague Daniel Everett and local historical society member Beatrice Adams, Claire races against time to bring justice to the restless spirits and confront the ancient ritual of retribution that binds the Harbinger to Blackwood Cemetery. The chapter culminates in a chilling confrontation that blurs the lines between past and present, forcing Claire to face her own doubts and fears as she strives to give voice to the silenced and find redemption for the wronged.
