Sermon Notes:
Mark 6:45-52
- The Holy Spirit is always teaching us but we aren't always learning.
- The disciples were blind to what Jesus was teaching them. Just like we can be blind when Jesus is trying to teach us.
- Jesus says follow me meaning I am going to teach you how to live just like me.
- Jesus made the disciples get into the boat in a manner like He was saying I know you heard what I've said and seen what I've done but now it's time for you to live it out. So they went into the boat and encountered the storm.
- You can still be involved in a move of God but still not encounter Jesus and leave changed. That's why you can be acquainted with His deeds but not changed by His ways.
- We must look to heaven when we are facing a hardened heart. God can heal the brokenness in your life. Focus on him and he will supply all your needs.
