Still Alive! Recapping our Belize Trip and Month Away

Hi there Pokémon Trainers!
Madeline and I are still alive!
Woo!
Just to recap where we've been, we went to Belize for a week (it was incredible), and then came back home and almost immediately got sick. 🤢
Our Belize trip was incredible!
We spent half of it on the coast where we were able to get a lot of regional Pokémon in Pokémon GO, including Heracross, Corsola, Maractus, aaaaaaand HAWLUCHA!!
I'm a big fan of Hawlucha because it's based on masked Mexican wrestlers.
Growing up, I watched a lot of lucha libre with my dad and uncles and I loved it from the moment I first saw it.
From then I got into WWE, and I've been keeping up with the product ever since.
So when Hawlucha came to Pokémon GO, I knew that I had to get one, but was disappointed when I found out that it would be a regional.
But now we have some and I couldn't be any happier!
While we were in Belize we also took a guided tour of a Mayan cave.
It was crazy cool!
This cave is a protected area and very few people can go in per day, and you need a certified guide who can navigate you through the cave.
We were unfortunately not able to bring any cameras with us, but it was still an incredible experience that we will remember forever.
After our trip we came back home and everything was fine for the first few days back.
I even went back to work!
Then, not even a week back, we BOTH got sick!
It was horrible.
We couldn't keep anything down, we had no appetite, and we both lost weight.
We went to the Dr's and were put on antibiotics, which definitely helped, but then that came with its own problems.
Anyways!
Long story short, took a trip, came back home and got sick.
Now we're doing fine!
Oh!
