So I posed the question of Tom Cruise being the last big box office draw, the Last Action Hero. What is it about him that makes people go to the cinema. While Marvel movies are essentially rinse and repeat movies Top Gun had the perfect mix of nostalgia, action and story. It was a return to the Summer Blockbuster.
