The two discuss the age-old phrase "write what you know" and how Pooneh wove years of research and knowledge of Persian culture into a story rather than just write a non-fiction book. She dedicated years of writing and rewriting until her labor of love found a home with Roan & Weatherford Publishing Associates, and she wants to make sure that you don't give up on your own passion projects so you can hopefully reach the same success she has with hers.
