In this episode, author Oleg Veretskiy joins Ukrainian wine exporter Tanya Kagitina. Neither had any idea the turn their lives would take on Feb. 24, 2022. In this podcast, we explore how Tanya and her sister pivoted their lives to support the country's struggle for freedom. How, Tanya is one of “The Odesa Sisters” who with her sister Antonina, runs an impressive sewing operation in Odesa, Ukraine, constructing high quality winter uniforms, sleeping bags, medical uniforms, adaptive underwear for injured soldiers, and other essential clothing items. Tatyana also serves as an interpreter for Ukrainian author & volunteer Oleg Veretskiy and assists in his projects supporting frontline Ukrainian military units.
