The 2017 edition of free agency in the NFL is nearing one month old. Over a billion dollars in contracts have been awarded, and any number of players of interest to fantasy football owners have found new homes. At running back, Adrian Peterson remains unsigned, as does Jamaal Charles. The biggest name to switch teams is one of the NFL’s biggest backs, with Eddie Lacy bolting the Green Bay Packers to try to goose the ground game in Seattle. Latavius Murray has found work as well – as Peterson’s replacement with the Minnesota Vikings. At wide receiver there’s been a ton of movement. The Washington Redskins became the first team in NFL history to lose a pair of 1,000-yard wideouts from the season before when DeSean Jackson (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Pierre Garcon (San Francisco 49ers) both left town. Terrelle Pryor signed a deal in D.C to pick up some of that slack. Kenny Britt replaced Pryor as the No. 1 receiver in the fifth circle of football hell known as Cleveland. The “crown jewel” of free agency at the position (Alshon Jeffery) settled for a one-year deal, while a surprise trade sent shockwaves across the fantasy landscape. We’re still waiting for the big shoes to drop at quarterback (“Where will Romo Land” has become the new “Who Shot J.R.?” in Texas), but dominos have fallen at tight end, including the arrival of Martellus Bennett in Titletown and his replacement joining the Super Bowl champs. In another trade. Join Fantasy Sharks Staff Writers Gary Davenport and Todd Latzke on Thursday, March 30 at 7 PM ET as they try to make heads of it all with fantasy football’s biggest winners and losers in free agency. Come on in – the water’s FINE! Call-In Number: (347)826-9620
