I too struggle with allowing myself to relax and not get overwhelmed by life, which often leads to binge-watching Netflix. It is important to take a mental inventory of how you spend your time and focus on activities that grow your business and allow you to make real connections with other people! But how do you do this and what happens when reality makes you feel shame?
This is my experience attending a podcasting conference, Podcast Movement Evolution, in Las Vegas, where I initially felt shy and anxious but eventually stepped out of my comfort zone and made valuable connections that led to collaborations and the growth of my business. There is power in podcasting as a tool for networking and I encourage you to take inventory of your own activities and focus on those that will help them make real connections and grow your businesses.
