The parent company of the satirical site The Onion acquired Infowars, a franchise founded by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. Infowars was recently auctioned off to help Alex Jones pay the nearly 1.5 billion dollars he owes the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting victims after he falsely claimed that the 2012 massacre was a hoax. Everytown For Gun Safety was named as the exclusive advertiser on the new platform. Everytown’s President John Feinblatt joins “Forbes Newsroom” to discuss the partnership.
