THE PONDERING EPISODES || God With Us #1 || What does the voice of God sound like?
Manage episode 431765741 series 2378526
Welcome to the first of THE PONDERING EPISODES for 2024! Join Hannah and her friends as they try to understand what does the voice of God sound like. Through the months of May and June, the Goodlife Church community has been unpacking the Holy Spirit in a series called 'Empowering Presence'. As a part of this we had the privilege of hearing from Rev. Dr. Tania Harris on how to hear the voice of God. It was in her teaching session that our community began to share their own personal journey of listening, asking and waiting for the voice of God.
In reflection, Hannah noticed that so often we hear extravagant, life-changing stories and yet there are so many everyday moments where God speaks to us. In this episode we have tried to capture a broad variety of stories that capture a few of the many different ways of hearing God.
Thanks to Jess, Harlow, Jesse, Bailey, Nat, Harley, Tim & Matt for sharing their beautiful stories. If you would like to share you're own personal experience hearing the voice of God please DM our socials or email Hannah at hbartle@goodlife.org.au - it doesn't need to be shared on the Podcast if you don't want.
THE PONDERING EPISODES: Have you got thoughts and questions about faith, the bible, church and life in general? Well, so do we! In these episodes we aim to have conversations where we wrestle and embrace all that this journey of faith brings. Do we have all the answers? Nope, but we are willing to ponder the big and the small things and have honest chats that may bring about new ways of thinking.
