And although it seems that it would be easy to resist the advances of a beast like Burt, Linda finds herself swept off her feet, dazzled by his money and profound mommy issues. However, when Linda grows tired of Burt’s unforgivable antics and leaves him for good, he does everything he can to win her back, including the grand gesture of hiring two goons to ambush his beloved Linda and throwing acid into her eyes, permanently disfiguring and blinding her…but their love story doesn’t end there.
