On today’s episode I’m joined by Rebecca McCallum, film journalist, assistant editor for Ghouls Mag and author of Mums + Sons zine.

Rebecca is one of the most hard-working women in horror, having had her writing featured in Rue Morgue, Dread Central and Grim Magazine, as well as her series with Moving Pictures film club about the Women of Hitchcock AND her recently published pocketbook. I knew having Rebecca on the show meant incredibly thoughtful analysis and amazing insights, and her FFO of Gothic, dreams and women leant itself perfectly to a film deserving of such: Roman Polanski’s 1968 meditation on the horrors of motherhood and misogyny: ROSEMARY’S BABY.
Join Rebecca and I as we dissect one of the most important, troubled, terrifying and relevant horror films of our time. Vodka blush anyone?

Content warning: This episode contains discussion of rape, child abuse and sexual assault.
