Jim Gone 4 50. Part Two.

James Douglas Morrison. I have so much to say about this man, he has unknowingly guided my life since I was in high school.

This special is a labor of love as we remember Jim Morrison on the so called 50th anniversary of his death.

In this episode we hear an interview that has never been played on the air before. I've been saving this interview for the right time, and now seems right. Portions of my interview with the author of "The Lizard King" and co-author of "No One Here Gets Out Alive" Mr. Jerry Hopkins. We hear about Jim's visions of the future of culture and he nails his prediction on music. And we then hear about James leaving this world. (If thats what you believe). And we hear some not quite convincing details from the manager Mr. Bill Siddons.

This culmination of audio interviews was given to the world by Jim Ladd, Ben Fong Toress, Tony Thomas, PBS, Martin Smith, and Salli Stevenson.

And on a personal note, the spirit of this rock star, dionysus, shaman, poet, or what ever you choose to call him, he was and is still a major part of my life, and believe it or not one of the reasons I find myself in Venice California. So this special is been in the making for close to 40 years of my life, and it still continues.

Thank you to Jim, Ray, Robbie, and John. For giving me and the world, words and music that can never be duplicated and means so much to so many.

So thank you, for letting me indulge you with one of my passions in life.
