We welcome back frontman Brian Wille from the metalcore outfit, Currents. It's been over a decade in the making of this rising Connecticut-based group, and now with their 3rd album in their arsenal, this new chapter is setting up to be one of the best they will ever set forth. We talk to Brian about developing his vocals over the years, getting through the pandemic, and how the challenges of dropping an album during that time frame can serve as a make or break for any band. If there was any band that made the most noise in 2020, it's Currents. After critical acclaim for “The Way it Ends,” Brian and company turned things up a notch and have offered the fans in 2023 another album-of-the-year contender. The new album, “The Death We Seek,” will be sure to please the old fans and new. The metalcore movement would not be where it is today without bands like Currents leading the way, tune in now to our conversation with our good friend Brian, and be sure to buy and stream “The Death We Seek,” out now worldwide via Sharptone Records.
