There is now a widespread awareness of the gravity of mental health issues in the general public, and equally in the world of healthcare. But in tandem with its rise we've seen the growth of the so-called "wellness industry", which too often promotes pseudo scientific solutions to the most complex of problems. Dr. Rashmi Patel is a MRC UKRI Health Data Research UK Fellow in the Department of Psychosis Studies at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London. He has a particular interest in the neurobiology of psychotic disorders and the role of health data research techniques such as extracting data from free text electronic health records (EHRs) using natural language processing to predict clinical outcomes and develop more effective treatment strategies.

Jordan Abdi is the Strategy and Business Development Lead at Holmusk, a company building the largest Real-World Evidence platform, starting with behavioral health.
