So you always hear about the big financial super powers like Citadel, Berkshire Hathaway, Goldman Sachs, The Blackstone Group, etc...
And initially, it seems like they are all just really big funds. However, Berkshire Hathaway and Goldman Sachs aren't funds... they are holding companies!
Don't get me wrong, funds and holding companies do have a lot of similarities, but there are also a number of differences that are important to know, especially when you are deciding if you want to start one or the other
