Manage episode 404820971 series 3551237
J. Christian Adams is the President and General Counsel of the Public Interest Legal Foundation. He served from 2005 to 2010 in the Voting Section at the United States Department of Justice Voting Section.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation recently sued, successfully, the Maine Secretary of State's office over a lack of transparency regarding Maine's voter information. PILF charged that Maine was not compliant with Federal law.
PILF won the initial case and then prevailed upon appeal. We walked through what this means and what are some of the anomalies PILF has uncovered with their work.
