The A.D. Players Theater in Houston, Texas will be presenting ESTHER. A new visceral, reimagining of the classic tale with a modern and authentically alluring flavor, incorporating multiple dance forms and production elements. It’s a heroic woman’s story of faith, strength, and strategy found in the gilded mosaic palace and complex family life of an all-powerful king. Starring in it is Sharna Burgess. She is best known as a former professional dancer and troupe member on the long-running ABC reality competition series, DANCING WITH THE STARS. I had the great pleasure of interviewing her about this and more.
