With 4 months to go, we are back! In this episode, we dive into the comical first presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. We discuss Joe Biden's awful night, pondering whether it was bad enough to see him drop out of the race. We revisit his "beat Medicare" faux pas and the incredible moment he turned a strong issue (abortion) into the Democrats' weakest issue (immigration) with an answer that had to be seen to be believed.
Trump may have won the debate, but we tackle the substance, or lack thereof, of his platform and the current state of the Republican party. We also examine the latest polls and reports showing previously safe states now being up for grabs.
Next, we pivot to the Supreme Court's ruling on Presidential immunity, the dissenting justices, and the potential ramifications both now and in the future. Lastly, we discuss the possible replacements should President Biden drop out and whether the Democrats can still make a comeback to win the election in November.
