We know that light always prevails over darkness because God is light, however there is a lot of talk about evil. We will discuss first this concept of evil. What is it, where is it and how do you get rid of it? Be prepared to look with an open mind at a thought that may change your thinking on this subject.
Evil is in the Bible 613 times. “Evil” is that which is opposed to God, that which is the opposite of God, and that which is contrary to God. Evil usually shows up in our thoughts or deeds.
It did not come as a shock to God when he saw that man had evil in his heart. It all started when the serpent told the woman, "you won't surley die if you partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil".
When we listen to the serpent, we are choosing our wants over his needs.
The serpent will always ask us these questions, did God really say that? Does God really want you to do that? He might even say, is it really worth your time and efforts to follow Jesus?
We can listen to God or the serpent. If we listen to the serpent, we choose to remain in a lower existence or realm. If we choose to listen to God, we are caught up with Him in the heavenly realms.
