Walmart recalls apple juice sold in 25 states due to elevated arsenic levels

Walmart has recalled nearly 10,000 cases of apple juice bottles.

The Food and Drug Administration first announced the recall on August 15th, but has now issued a more urgent warning.

The new classification says the affected product may cause temporary adverse health consequences but is unlikely to cause serious or irreversible medical issues.

The recall applies to six-packs of Great Value brand apple juice in 8-ounce bottles.

They have a best if used by date of December 28, 2024.
