Flexi is an independent record store and label located in Lugo, founded by Simone Guerra. Sitting halfway between Bologna and Rimini, the shop opened in ’84 and has always been aimed at DJs and record-lovers, devoted to the sounds of the warm and soulful, disco, acid jazz and house. Flexi Cuts the label, was born in 2016 and it releases a glorious array of music from talented artists about the globe. Next up on Flexi Cuts comes Feel Fly, the electronic DJ, musician, and composer for film from Perugia who has been described by Gerd Jansen as a linchpin in the Italian underground scene. Real name Daniele Tomassini, he has released Balearic beauties on cult label International Feel, with countless outings on Prins Thomas’ hallowed Internasjonal, Bosconi, New Planetary Melodies and Hell Yeah. Co-founder of the Afro Templum party, Tomassini’s structured and polished sonics have helped to define the Feel Fly sound; a blend of evocative, emotional, and ethereal atmospheres merged into house and cosmic leaning Disco. “Sole” is a euphoric, powerful, and liberating sonic experience that will simply blow your mind. A summer anthem, that is both versatile and extremely dance-worthy and is laced with those Italo-house vibes we all love.
