Welcome to episode 4 of the (K)new Self podcast! I'm your host, Nicole Bellisle, and today I'm authentically sharing the story of how I eroded trust within my own body for YEARS, but the choices I was making. I wasn't consciously aware of all of the times I was overriding and ignoring my body's true needs, but these micro choices added up and eventually led me to burnout and depression.
Learning how to cultivate trust through different choices and forming a different relationship with my body has been a journey. But it's so important that we cultivate this trust within, because it allows us to form trusting relationships with others AND create cultures of trust and dignity within our teams and companies.
Tune in for more of the story. And a disclaimer that in this episode there is mention of alcohol abuse and sexual trauma, which could be triggering to those who have shared these experiences. Please listen at your own discretion.
