SERIES OVERVIEW:
As Christians, we serve a benevolent God who freely gives good gifts. Part of being made in God’s image is having gifts and talents that help reflect His nature to the world. Whether someone has not followed Jesus or been a Christian for decades, we can all discover that we are gifted for more. Throughout this sermon series, we will journey through the life and letters of Paul to learn that everyone is a gift, and it takes all of us to recognize and use our gifts to build the Kingdom of God.
Week 2 Everyone is a Gift with Gifts
SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:3–8 NLT
MAIN IDEA: Everyone is a gift with gifts.
Do a thorough evaluation of the gifts that you have. Combine this reflection with your EveryGift (www.everygift.org) Inventory results and conversations with those closest to you.
Recognize how your gifts can be best used in your life (among your family, vocation, community, church, etc.).
Thank God for his benevolence in giving you gifts.
Knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for each of our gifts, take time to discover
your unique gifts and how to steward them. (Take the EveryGift Inventory...)
