Washington wants to establish a dominant defense in 2024

Jedd Fisch, Steve Belichick, and the Washington Huskies coaching staff are trying to rebuild what used to be a dominant defense on Montlake, and have gotten some help from former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick in doing so, and also have some promising pieces like edge rusher Zach Durfee, linebacker Carson Bruener, and cornerback Ephesians Prysock that should help too. The Huskies are also going to rely on a lot of young players this season on both sides of the ball, including Demond Williams, Peyton Waters, Leroy Bryant, Elishah Jackett, Sione Faasolo, and more. Locked On Huskies hosts Roman Tomashoff and Lars Hanson discuss what the defense can do under the new coaching staff to return to its former glory, as well as what the coaching staff might want to do in the transfer portal outside of addressing the offensive line.
