5. Ali Bonar: ED Recovery, Using Your Feelings as your Superpower & Pivoting Your Career Path Towards Entrepreneurship
Manage episode 365994295 series 3484102
Today I have Ali Bonar on the podcast who's going to completely shift your perspective on LOTS of different things. Ali is the founder of OatHaus, the world's first ever granola butter, the host of Alicast and a self-love advocate through her openness on her Eating Disorder recovery. We chat about A LOT, from her journey with her eating disorder, how she almost failed out of UC Berkeley, why she chose to pivot her career path from nutrition to business, how she healed her relationship with food, what led her to start her own brand, the realities of being an entrepreneur, setting boundaries for your mental health...and most notably, how she uses her feelings as her superpower (in both business and in her personal life).
Ali has an incredible story - she's had high highs and low lows, lots of 'failures' and lots of blissful moments...but throughout it all, she still believes everything happens for a reason. And once you listen to what she has to say, you'll understand what she means.
*Note, the audio in the beginning is a bit wonky but gets fixed within a few minutes!
