Anthony talks about his humble beginning at Stanford as a basketball athelete and how his experiences helped him become courageous and faithful throughout his journey in the NBA D league now called the g league, his stint on an NBA team with the OKC Thunder the year they went to the NBA finals in 2012 and playing overseas as well. We talk about the treachery of playing overseas and potentially living paycheck to paycheck, navigating a new culture, and learning that not everything is what it seems. We also talk about how medicine is much like basketball and why working within the confines of a team is so crucial for success.
