Gaz joined the British Army in 1995 and served for 24 years as a Royal Engineer (RE).
In this episode he talks about life growing up in a military family, going through basic training, being part of the largest Saif Sareea exercise in Oman during 2001, and later returning to Army Training Regiment (ATR) Bassingbourn as an instructor himself.
Gaz also shares working alongside the Royal Marines as a vehicle instructor, using his Mountain Leader (ML) skills in Kenya and California, and also helping a family as a Casualty Visiting Officer (CVO). Lastly he talks about building his own business when leaving the Army, called Northern Signs.
