Jim Pfeifer explains the ins and outs of passively investing in real estate syndications, and calls this investing from left field because it is not traditional. Jim was previously a financial advisor so understands investing in the stock market well and the comparison to real estate syndications. He talks about the comparison of forecasted returns in real estate vs. the stock market, and particularly the difference in tax benefits from the different investment strategies.

Jim and Phil also discuss the importance of community to accelerate success when you are investing passively or in whatever you are doing. Jim has created a network of passive investors that help each other invest wisely, and that can learn from each other’s successes and failures.

Jim encourages the guests to look at people around them that are wealthy, and he can pretty much guarantee that they got wealthy either from business or real estate, it was not from growing their 401k. That being said, Jim also explains that investing in real estate is not get rich quick and takes patience. Finally, he gives us advice on how to diversify your investments and different educational platforms he uses to continue to grow.
