In this episode, I have invited 2 amazing mompreneurs, Michelle Tay & Serene Wu who are the co-founders of Love Bonds!

Love Bonds was birthed from an idea to help parents encourage intentional conversations about values and eventually cultivating habits of meaningful conversations that will give the child opportunities to share about his/her thoughts, feelings and decision making processes. They firmly believe that character can be developed through quality conversations a parent has with the child. They know that strong bonds in the family are built upon such conversations. They have a dream, a big one, which is to empower parents to nurture changemakers, one conversation at a time.

Michelle is a creative director, wedding photographer and a mumpreneur who loves all things beautiful. She finds joy in capturing precious moments of couples and families because these memories allow them to connect with their future generations. She is also a creative who loves painting and art and craft.

After being married to a supportive husband and becoming a mum to her two lovely daughters – Isabelle and Carissa (4 and 2 year old respectively), she saw the importance of building strong bonds with her children in order to impart good values to them and she continues to strive to become a more intentional parent.

Serene is an experienced and qualified educator with a passion for teaching and growing the next generation. She has a wealth of teaching experience and was a senior teacher who specialises in character education, developing and implementing programs that promotes values-inculcation in schools, before she recently resigned to be a mumpreneur and produce content that empowers parents to have meaningful conversations with their children.

A blessed wife to a husband who believes in her and mama to 2 loquacious boys - Azel (7 years old) and Aden (3 years old), Serene strongly believes that character can be developed through intentional meaningful conversations with children. She is an avid reader who loves parenting and children books.

Their vision is to empower parents to impart essential soft skills to their children so that we can see a generation with a strong moral character compass that helps them navigate in life.
