Deniece Pearson formally lead singer of pop band Five Star who had a Grammy Nomination and a Brit Award in 1987 has released a fantastic track 'Forever Young' to mark an incredible 40 years in the music business and I play a taster in the interview.
As you will hear Deniece is still full of fun and talent. She tells me how Five Star started
( when she was still at school !- remember their hits System Addict, The Slightest Touch and Rain or Shine), who her manager father worked with ( impressive list!) her influences when writing music and we talk cats a bit too!
She also passes on great advice for young women starting out in the music world.
