In Part 1, we discuss Robert Hansen, the Butcher Baker of Alaska's early life, first documented crimes, and how he snowballed into a serial killer.

In the 70's the 800-mile Trans-Alaska Pipeline System was being built in Alaska which led to 28,000 men flooding the city to work on construction. Because of the additional men, strip club's were erected to keep the men occupied and the workers would travel between Alaska and other states where the best work was, which meant keeping tabs on them was difficult. People disappeared all the time, and Robert used this to his advantage to pick women based on his demented moral compass.

Stay tuned next week to discuss his victims more in depth, his trial, and what his wife had to say about finding out her dear husband was a murderer.
