(6:50am) We also say farewell to sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel (78), actress Olivia Hussey (73), and baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson (65). Greg Gumbel was best known for his broadcasting on CBS doing NFL play-by-play and NCAA basketball, along with baseball and Olympic coverage. Olivia Hussey was best remembered for the movie Romeo & Juliet (1968) and the NBC mini-series Jesus of Nazareth (1977). Rickey Henderson was the Man of Steal, setting the MLB stolen base record at 1,406. Lou Brock was 2nd at 938. Rickey was a great leadoff hitter, playing for 25 seasons (1979-2003) with 9 teams, and best known for his years with the Oakland As. He had 3,055 hits, 297 HRs, and 1,115 RBIs. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, in 2009.
