Tyler Nelson is an accomplished individual known for his diverse expertise spanning technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, and military service. Tyler's journey began with his enlistment in the U.S. Army, where he served as a paratrooper for Destined Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (2-503 PIR), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) during Operation Enduring Freedom 8. His deployment highlighted his resilience and courage in the face of adversity.
After his initial deployment, Tyler reclassed to become an IT Systems Specialist, leveraging his technical skills to support critical operations within the military. His exceptional performance caught the attention of his superiors, leading to his selection to join the prestigious 75th Ranger Regiment. Tyler's dedication, leadership, and determination were further demonstrated when he successfully completed Ranger School, earning him the coveted Ranger tab.
Transitioning from the military to civilian life, Tyler brought with him seven intense years’ worth of experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD). His time in service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and adaptability, qualities that have shaped his approach to both his professional and personal endeavors.
In the realm of technology and entrepreneurship, Tyler has excelled, co-founding Alset Technologies a startup that simplifies system hardening and compliance. He plays pivotal roles in software development, product management, and business development. His entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with his technical acumen, has enabled him to innovate and thrive in the rapidly evolving tech industry.
Outside of his work, Tyler enjoys spending quality time with his family, coaching and mentoring competitive weightlifters, and helping rescue dogs get adopted. With a remarkable blend of military service, technological expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit, Tyler continues to lead and inspire. Rangers Lead The Way!
