Episode 68: Light creates everything we see - colors, contrast, shapes, lines, etc., and therefore learning how to “see” light is an essential step in creating more compelling images. Many of our recent guests on the podcast have emphasized how important understanding and knowing light is to improve your photography.

So, in this Tidbit Tuesday, I break down the different characteristics of light, how to effectively use whatever light you have, and how light shapes the mood of a scene or subject. This is a remix of an earlier episode (episode 18) in case you missed it.

LINKS MENTIONED:

Episode 16: What to Photograph on Overcast, Grey Days?

Episode 38: Should You Buy Filters? Photography Filters Explained
