Season 3 Episode 42 In this podcast my son-in-law Jeremiah Paden and myself interact concerning the factors of running the Christian-life race to win not only in 2022 but running to win in all the years of our Life. The Christian life is described as a race three times in the New Testament -- Philippians 3:12-14, Hebrews 12:1,2 and in 1 Corinthians 9:24. The major factors in running to win are: # 1 The Life-time Venture Factor # 2 The Cross-Country Factor # 3 The Sowing and Reaping Factor # 4 The Past Factor # 5 The Responsibility Factor. We are to run this race "looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith." (Hebrews 12:2) We recommend a booklet entitled "Looking Unto Jesus" that I have handed out over many years that helps us understand the centerpoint of our spiritual journey through the life.
