The Golden Globes have come and gone, the SAG Awards nominees have been released, and the Oscars loom in the distance, which means we are in the thick of awards season. And whether or not you chose to be subjected to the awfulness that is the Golden Globe Awards, we are here to give our reactions and thoughts on what it could mean for the award show that actually matters, The Oscars. Also, both Amazon Prime Video and Pixar announced layoffs this week so we discuss what that means for the streaming industry. Plus, out of the blue, Lucasfilm decides to quietly drop perhaps the biggest feature film announcement since Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Cam rants about a couple of movie delays and casting changes.
