Yesterday someone said to me, "I have always had this feeling that if you don't do the High Holidays right, then catastrophic things are going to happen."
Well, it didn't exactly inspire him to approach the High Holidays confidently and to make the most out of these days! Is there a better way to head into Rosh Hashana?

Rosh Hashana is the beginning of the Jewish year, and beginnings have a lot of energy. Start something well and you are on a roll, it is much easier to build on that momentum. If something starts on the wrong track, it is much harder to bring it back to where we want to take it.
