We speak field director of Equality Texas, Brad Prichett about the upcoming session of the Texas legislature. We speak about the upcoming bills concerning the LGBT community and what is being done to defeat the anti-LGBT legislation. Equality Texas works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through political action, education, community organizing, and collaboration. The Equality Texas Foundation works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through education, community organizing, and collaboration.

Finally, we speak with poet/musician Aaron Coleman for part two of his interview concerning his experience in the church. We also speak about his work and his famous relatives. We hear some of his poetry and about growing up in Houston. Finally we speak with folks from the LGBTQ Victory Fund about the upcoming Champaign Brunch happening on March 5th at the Post Oak Hotel. LGBTQ Victory Fund works to achieve and sustain equality by increasing the number of openly LGBTQ elected officials at all levels of government while ensuring they reflect the diversity of those they serve.
