Do you have typical hearing kids and kids with hearing loss in the same house?
I know you’ve wondered how your typical hearing kids are going to receive your child with hearing loss. I know that I personally was concerned that communicating with my typical hearing child would be “easier” for my husband and I, so we would have a better relationship with her.
However, we’ve been able to integrate hearing loss and typical hearing into our home with accommodations for our Deaf kids while helping our typical hearing child understand her brothers' hearing loss and how to help them.
Listen to the podcast episode to learn how we did it, and learn how you can easily do this in your own home starting today! Let’s dive in!
