BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Eleazar Rodriguez, director of industrial park development and special projects for the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, has given an update on the North Brownsville Industrial Park.
Rodriguez spoke about the project during a reception following a BTX Developers Tour. The tour was organized jointly by the Rio Grande Valley Partnership and GBIC. The tour, for which Rodriguez was the tour guide, took in visits to the North Brownsville Industrial Park, the Port of Brownsville, and SpaceX at Boca Chica. The reception was held in the courtyard of GBIC’s offices on E. St. Charles Street.
In his remarks from the stage, Rodriguez said there would be a tech component to the industrial park. And he said the recruitment of manufacturing companies would be priority no. 1.
After Rodriguez had given his presentation he gave a video interview to the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service.
