Early Childhood Education with Angela Crawley
Manage episode 362779806 series 3359164
Thrive Virginia uses person-centered and collaborative services to empower those fighting poverty to achieve individualized prosperity and community connections.
Today we are talking to Angela Crawley who is the Early Childhood Education Director. Her program provides support to families during pregnancy and the first few years of a child’s life. These services are provided free-of-charge to families living in Charles City County and New Kent County.
Angela talks about how support is provided, including meeting with parents in the privacy of their home to provide encouragement and support, as well as share useful child development information, parenting tips, and referrals to other community resources.
Angela and her team believe each family is unique. This program builds on a family’s strengths to nurture positive parent-child relationships and promote healthy child development.
