" I think people assume that UX is making things look pretty and making people want to engage with them. But actually, that's just the end, the cherry on top of what we do. The real purpose of UX is to look at the what, why, who and when. So really, who's going to be using this, when are they going to be using it? What do they want to achieve from using it? Why? So I think really looking at those and bedding down is why companies like Google and Uber are so successful because they meet those needs without us really having to think about it as users and they've really understood what the need of the product is from a user's perspective, not from a business perspective."
