5G will mean faster download and upload speeds. But this isn’t just good news for uploading content to Instagram. It has the potential to be an indispensable technology for business. There are suggestions that by 2035, 5G will enable $12.3 trillion of global economic output and support 22 million jobs worldwide. It could enable the health service to share data more efficiently, change the way autonomous vehicles talk to each other, and enable swarms of search and rescue drones to communicate wirelessly with each other. This all sounds very cool but what does this all mean for the insurance industry?
