Manage episode 342482989 series 3395428
In this episode, I am delighted today to introduce you to the second in our series on Optimising Health and Happiness For Humans and Animals, with my special guests, Dr. Timo Tastutar and Lance Schuttler.
In the first episode of this series (#4) we discussed what is health, and how can we optimise it? In this second episode today, we are discussing the important subject of "What is Happiness?"
We look at the scientific, physical, spiritual, and philosophical aspects of happiness. We discuss, amongst many other things, whether we can objectively assess and measure happiness, and also cover some tips about how each of us optimise happiness in our lives. I absolutely loved the different perspectives that each of my guests brought to this discussion, and I hope you do too.
- How can we define happiness and how does it link to contentment?
- How being in alignment with our core values affects our happiness.
- Our perception and its effect on our happiness.
- How our microbiome, as well as certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies, has a big correlation to our happiness.
- Stress and its impact on our physiology and our happiness.
- Choice - too much or too little - and how it can impact happiness.
So sit back, enjoy with an open mind - Stay Curious, and Stay Free, and, very importantly, please do let us know what you think in the comments or the reviews. Thank you.
