Sophia Stanford chats with writer and director Kristen Dania about his experience directing short films and how he’s trying to break into the industry.
Kristen initially started out as a photographer for concerts and then built on his armoury of filmic experience by documenting short films and then went onto film school. His two latest short films have been selected for several film festivals and he is working on his first feature film.
Kristen gets honest with us about what it's like joining the industry with no connections, how to navigate film festivals, and why colour was so important for him to use in his short films ‘Frank Curiel’ and ‘Vilomah’.
