This is a special episode of SIT DOWN, BE HUNGRY in partnership with the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. On July 19th, the Asian Art Museum will host Tasting Series: Chefs Hawker Centre Festival on July 19th. The event will feature food and beverages from chefs and mixologists in the Bay Area at the beautiful Asian Art Museum. In this episode, SDBH interviews friend of the show and Chef Tu David Phu, executive producer of the event, Silvia Chang, the educator for public programs at the Asian Art Museum, Chef Deuki Hong and Janet Lee of the Sunday Hospitality Group and Sunday at the Museum, and Mixologist Adam “Boots” Brogan of Louie’s Bar and the Jack Daniels Cocktail Champ. Segments of this show were recorded onsite at the Asian Art Museum and Louie’s Bar. Admission to the event includes museum access for all the AAM exhibits, including the acclaimed "Divine Bodies" exhibit.
