To kick off the 4th season of Slut, Ginger Banks joins us! Ginger’s been a sex worker for 15 years and we begin the conversation by reminiscing on her library streams as a camgirl (2:33). Her library shows became so popular that she’d make $8,000 per hour. During this time, Ginger kept her job a secret but as she became more popular, she had to tell friends and family. She shares why she hid it and what happened when she finally told her family (15:13).
Then we discuss how she helped hundreds of women come forward with their allegations of sexual assault against Ron Jeremy (28:50). Ginger shares her thoughts on the prison industrial system, alternative ways we can hold perpetrators accountable (33:29), and where the case with Ron Jeremy stands today (38:57).
In 2018, Ginger shot her first porn scene with Evil Angel and it didn’t go the way she would’ve hoped (43:50). She was outcasted from the sex worker community and we talk about what happened that day on set (49:44).
