But are we limiting the impact of the Church to four walls and trained specialists, rather than embracing our role as a 24/7 people movement transforming our cities and nations?
Join us as we unpack Ephesians 4:11-16, understanding the diverse gifts given to the Church and the purpose behind them. Discover how these gifts are meant to equip and perfect the saints for works of service, building up the body of Christ and fostering unity in faith and knowledge.
In this episode, we challenge the notion of confining the Church and its ministry. Are we containing what is designed to be a force out in the marketplace, transforming lives and societies? Jesus introduced a Church that is expansive, like salt, water, light, or leaven—metaphors reflecting the Kingdom of God. None of these elements are effective if contained or controlled.
Explore with us the metrics of the early Church in Acts, and aspire to see them replicated today. Acts 2:41-47 reveals a vibrant community devoted to teaching, fellowship, sharing, and prayer, experiencing numerical growth and expanding favor. Our aspiration is to live with the unshakable condition that Jesus is still building His Church, and we are to be actively engaged until His return.
