We are still in May and this is for those who recently graduated: whether it be college/university, certification of some sort, continuing of education, etc. I know during this time of the year for those moving on to the next step (graduation, job certifications, etc.) there is a lot to process. But I am focusing particularly on my college graduates since I said last week this episode will be geared a little more towards you.
I wanted to reach out to you during this episode because you might have already walked across the stage during your graduation or you could be in the process in getting ready for graduation! You too should take this time to cherish the moments. I always tell my kids and all of you every day to continuously BE YOURSELF. I will repeat: the generational growth in leadership continues and future leaders are SELF-MADE. All that you do here on out is what is best FOR YOU. The people that care about you will give and tell you opinions and advice all for the benefit FOR YOU. Remember, sometimes it is hard to hear difficult opinions, even if they are true or you just flat out disagree with them. The rollercoaster of failures and successes is how life goes.
